Our Mission
Live Like Cam was created to honor the life, passions, and heart of Cameron Schaefer. Everything we support reflects who Cam was, what he loved, and the legacy he continues to make through others.
Live Like Cam isn't built around one mission... it's built around a life.
And now, that life continues -- in every life we touch.
Cameron lived fully.
Cam loved being outdoors--fishing, riding, working with his hands, and making people feel like they mattered. As a skilled tradesman and lineman, Cam believed in hard work, learning by doing, and building a meaningful life--values we continue to honor through scholarships and support for skilled trades.
Cam never set out to leave a legacy.. He simply lived with a big heart, worked hard, loved deeply, and showed up for others.
After losing Cam at 22 in a tragic accident, that heart didn't stop giving. Through organ donation, his life continues on -- and so does his legacy.
Because of you, Cameron's story continues -- not just in memory, but in action.
WHAT LIVING LIKE CAM MEANS
YOUTH Outdoor programs
Cam felt most alive outdoors. We support youth outdoor experiences including fishing events, archery programs, riding communities, and activities that build confidence, mentorship, and connection.
ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS
Cam's final gift through organ donation saved and healed lives--and continues to inspire others to register as donors. We continue sharing his story to encourage others to register as donors and understand the life-changing impact of saying yes.
Community & Animal support
Cam loved helping people, loved dogs, and believed in showing up for others. Through community projects and support for local shelters and organizations, we continue giving back in his honor.
MOTORCYCLE SAFETY AWARENESS
After losing Cam in a motorcycle crash caused by inattentive driving, we are committed to raising awareness, promoting safer roads, and reminding drivers to Look Twice, Save a Life.
